I have been looking for a 2" gun off and on this year. I found a Jefferies at a show. Dealers bottom dollar was 2900.00. It had a cut stock that was added back on. The seam was very visible and frankly was ugly. Other than that the gun was plain jane box lock.
Looking at Holt's "on line unsold lots" are a variety of plain jane box locks for under 1k. Yes i know plus VAT and any other transfer charges. But non are 2" mostly 2.5" and most are same dimension as a 2" gun . So why the premium on a 2" vs. 2.5"?
