have pretty much totally stopped even shooting shotguns but did pick up a Perazzi recently just because it was cheap (and because the best engineered best built shotgun I ever owned was an mx8 and nothing Winchester or browning ever made could touch it). no model markings, no importer markings, but date code puts it at 1970 and as near as I can determine it's an MX8 comp I skeet gun. has the ported barrels and odd chokes described and pictured in shooter's bibles of that time frame. as near as I can determine that choke perazzi put in those guns was their version of the tula choke. anyone have any experience with these on a perazzi, specifically how well they perform? and can I assume the current fad in shotguns is still for unnecessarily long barrels and a 26" barrel skeet gun is going to be tough to get rid of?
