Exactly what parts are unavailable for a Model 17 ?
I've purchased a few items, well used, from gunbroker and ebay. There isn't anything new, that I'm aware of. A second barrel is a tough find.
The Upper Sandusky people will fit a new stock if you would like. I had a 12 gauge model 37 fitted with one, plainish grain, and I don't recall the cost, but it wouldn't have been too expensive or I wouldn't have done it.
For a good chunk of my life, a Remington model 17 was my only repeater. Somedays, I think it should have stayed that way.
