Jeff:
Except for the single trigger, that's as close to the perfect Model 21 for me that I can imagine getting. However, given my current resources, it's about 3x what I'd be able to spend, and that only after emptying a substantial portion of the current contents of the safe.
Thanks for finding and sharing it, though.

I keep thinking I want a Model 21, but when it comes time, I talk myself out of it. Found one in my travels today. Perfectly normal hunted gun, no special features , no flaws. Definite wear on edges, original all around , non ejector 12 ga M/F. Sub 2000 serial. I offered 3200 on 3500. They said no. Is a respectable 21 ever gonna be a 3000 gun? Is 3500 a price you pay and smile? If I were you I would look for BSA three inch model deluxe ejector gun. Last one I seen had nice engraving and tag of $2000. That is rather high for BSA BL double but that was because it was uncommon 3" gun with engraving and selective automatic ejectors. That is more than a match for Model 21 and barrels have same type of dovetail construction. BSA Guns Ltd was very famous machine gun and military rifle maker during WWII as well as fine air gun maker. The business closed in early 80s.

Gentlemen, The Puglisi 21 was stocked by my friend who built the gun. His work is superb. He has restocked Fox's, Parker's, 21s, Perazzis (over a dozen), and some Italian side locks. To call him a serious hobbyist does not do his work justice. He is getting on in years and only builds stocks for himself. If I could afford it I would own that 21 and I am not really a Model 21 fan. Regards Jeff

eightbore, My friend is quite shy about his work. He's never done this for an income, just a passion of his. If you empty out your message box we can discuss him more. You may know him if you go to the Beinfield show. Regards, Jeff
