I took the pictures because I had just re-assembled for the purpose of shooting it. Not only to make sure it works but to also get zero marks for the open peep sight that is on the back of the scope mount base.
I like the color...Ric what do you think and others are welcome to comment also.

Fred & Ric I added the barrel band. Didn't do it like I had thought. The issue was getting the band past the existing front sight. So I thought I would slot it like i showed in an earlier pic on this thread. Well I didn't like doing that and so what I did was fit the tally band with a clamp screw, then slotted the band so I could open it up and slide in on. Then tighten the clamp screw. I think its going to work.

That should work! I need to find a way to replace the barrel band on the Sequoia Mannlicher.

It was broken,poorly soldered,and drilled or filed to elongate the hole for the cross pin. Bubba did it

Finally done



Should have been completed last September but that's another story
Maybe this year I will use it for hunting
