The writer has deliberately stressed the most frightening and unthinkable aspects of ultimate gun control, even to the lurid imagery of "grandma and her walker" being aggressively confronted by police. What he has written should scare the hell out of anyone who believes in civil rights. And that, I believe, is his intention.
