A handsome rifle indeed. I like to see folks think out of the box. I'm doing something (very slowly) similar, only different. It is percussion, sorta hawkenesque, and it will be exactly what I want for hunting deer etc.

for someone that doesn't like a lot of recoil, .62 cal and 120 grs of powder is a pretty good "HELLO" every time you pull the trigger.
