OP jldidier Boxlock Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 23 Likes: 4 Wisconsin	Hey Gang, I recently acquired a very nice 16 marked Josef Ritter. He is thought to be a German merchant who had some guns made and stamped them with his name for sale through his own shop. I'm still trying to understand the barrel stamps but one indicates final proof before 1939. Is anyone here aware of Mr. Ritter or how to go about determining the actual maker. I know a lot has been lost to history but I'm curious. Jim
