The only Rossi models I've ever seen with a Greener style crossbolt are the "Overland" models, imported by Garcia, in the early 1970s, but, they were hammerguns. They were really crude.
When we were kids, we all learned pretty early on that the guns imported from Brazil became unreliable in fairly short order. I remember a few Boitos and a few Rossi's and all were replaced in a season or two-one of the O/U Boitos was actually warrantee replaced by Target, back when they had a cursory sporting goods department. The kid got a "New Haven" version of a Mossberg 500 pump, which, at least, worked.
I had an Italian "Companion" single shot, and a well used Remington model 17, both guns were reliable, and were loaned on more than one occasion to a friend who was saddled with a gun from Brazil.
I'm pretty sure Sponge Bob would say, "Hey, good luck with that".

Best,
Ted
