Sauer with NR just forward of flats

J.P. Sauer Nr. 254966 June 1930(badged J. Nicklas, Riga) with chopper-lump tubes given as a Modell 380 with Krupp 3 Ringe Nirosta(Nichtrostender Stahl) which seems odd so I wonder if Nirosta was a evolution of 3 Ringe Stahl? The Nirosta recipe was developed on Oktober 17th, 1912 and Krupp/Sauer sought trademark protection for Nirosta in 1922. By the 1914 Expo in Malmö, Sweden, many, many wares were displayed that were composed of Nirosta. With all that said, I wonder if NR stands for Nirosta(Nichtrostender Stahl)????
