Weather was really nice. Again, the crowds were really big again this year. Lots of gun and non gun vendors. Some really fun free stuff like the Land Rover off road course, Culinary institute game cooking lessons, Raptor displays etc. Also, lots of food, wine and spirits vendors, many offering samples of their wares.
Lots of good gun vendors: Steve Barnett, William Larkin Moore, Kirby Hoyt, Gary Herman, Jay Schacter, Robin Hollow, Galazans, William Asprey and many others.
The new SXS shoot was fun with over 60 entrants. The main Orvis Cup shoot drew about 130 shooters.
The Orvis staff deserve credit for running a first rate event, and especially for attracting hundreds of new people, particularly families and kids. Was very nice to see.
