I think it was kind of like that game you play where you try to find all the stuff that should be in the picture, and all the stuff that shouldn't. Keeps your mind sharp when looking at old shotguns.
Like is it a NID or a Flues?
Out there doing it best I can.

The case coloring seems a little dark. But I'm no expert on high grade Ithacas.
Walt, if you happen to pop in and see this, could you possibly give your opinion as to if the coloring appears original, or restored to original standards?
Regards Ken
I prefer wood to plastic, leather to nylon, waxed cotton to Gore-Tex, and split bamboo to graphite.

Color is consistent with many of the highest grade guns Walt has purchased, and posted pictures of here. Always a hazy blue, almost Robin's egg, with some green hues.
I thought this was one of Walt's, but the town is 350 miles west of him.
Out there doing it best I can.

well, dallas, i usually call people i like by their first name...and i sometimes refer to people i like and dislike as mr.
and thank you for being man enough to reveal who you are after you trashed this tread with a negative post which has nothing to do with american art forms.

I know the seller. His motto appears to be "I will not be oversold". But I did buy a cape gun from him once because I traded a gun that I had almost nothing in.
