Hi:
While at the local skeet range today, I saw a very nice looking gun in the rack. I found the owner and he told me a bit about it.
The gun was made by CSMC, it was a 20 gage, had 4
x wood, two triggers, straight stock, cc action, dull finish, choked skeet and i.c., leather covered pad, and weighed less than 5.5 lbs. The owner complained about the recoil bothering him and the high cost of shells! The 28 gage hunting shells cost more than $21.00! He was shooting AA target loads today. This is going to be his grouse gun. Due to his strange body build, it did not fit well at all. I guess that his build is so unique, that to make a gun to fit, it would be only suitable for him.Read very little resale value. He needs a large amout of drop at the heel.
I think that he will be very happy with this gun but I worry abut him shooting so very high! After many misses, the charm may wear off. Anyway, to each his own.
What do you guys think about this gun? Would you spring for it?
Stay well my friends,
Franchi
p.s.
The cost you may ask. Let's say that it was 7 large. I mean $7000.00. It was very pretty but 7 large in the hand also looks very nice! Lol
