Assuming it was/is an RBL, anybody who drops $7K on a $4K gun shouldn't be complaining about the cost of shells. They are nice guns, so if you can get it at a reasonable price, buy it, regardless of gauge. I'd be surprised if he would be willing to take a big loss on a fairly new gun. Must be a Reserve, if it's an RBL, but still probably not a $7K gun in the real world.
