Hi All:

I made a couple of mistakes in my orginal post.

He said the gun was a RBL and it was a 28 gage not a 20 gage as I had reported.

One of the reasons that I posted this subject was to attempt to tie together some thoughts on the post about Spanish gun market. The RBL cost "$7000.00" but not many people were interested in spending that kind of money on a Spanish gun. What is the rationale on that othere than to "Buy American."

I do not want to start a pi$$ing match between the CSMC gun and a gun made in Spain. I have very little knowledge obout either or am I in the market for either gun. I have no idea as to what a RBL gun is.

I too was shocked as to why he would complain about the price of 28 gage ammo after spending that much coin on a 28 gage gun. He was planning to take a Grouse Safari to Upstate New York in a couple of weeks so money may not be an problem with this guy.

In retrospect, I guess that I was very underwhelmed by what $7000.00 would buy in a shotgun. Seven large may not be a vast amount of money for the people on this site, but to me. the gun would have to be a real knockout with great wood and some nice engraving!

I saw a Beretta 626 that was nice but...

Enough for now.

Stay well my friends,

Franchi
