I have a notebook full of U.S. Patents for single triggers that either show a Remington double in the patent drawings or the patents are assigned to Remington Arms Co. Patents by C.E. DeLong, E.D. Fulford, E.H. Thorneley, and G.E. Witherell. Some years ago, I believe it was the late Charlie Semmer, sent me a listing of the single trigger Remington doubles in the museum at Ilion. So, it appears to me that Remington Arms Co. was considering entering the single trigger market.
