Thanks guys. I may have to chew on this one for a while. It's grouse season now so I will be switching between the Wm. Evans 16, the Parker Trojan that was restocked and fits me well. I will still need to have the stock on the Evans bent to give me a little more drop. I shoot it well on rising birds like grouse and pheasants but I do get a fair amount of cheek slap. I can't shoot a round of sporting clays without a nice tender lump under the cheek bone. Tall and skinny with a stork neck makes the old 3" DAH perfect for me.
