I have looked at my matched pair of Evans sidelocks also with the intention of getting them a little lower at the "cheek". What I have found is that a bend would bring the heel down a bit, but the "cheek" would not move much. Shaving the top of the stock or adding a little height to the ribs are the only two actions that would make my guns a perfect fit. I have decided to learn how to shoot them while seeing a little more rib than I am used to. It has worked out so far.
