I was born into and raised in loving Christian family. The older I get the more skeptical I'm of the whole thing. I suspect that is largely do to lack of tolerance and acceptance in that faith plus fixation on profits in some Christian denominations. I am fixated on that '.....with liberty and justice for all....' that is probably why I sometimes vote for Democrats.

I'm OK with Marx not believing in God, where it goes bad for me is when a bunch of people end up in slave labor camps or dead for their belief in God. Seems it wasn't much of a jump to go from "there is no God" to "the state is God, and belief in a God other than the state gets you a free ride to the Gulag".
And, it happens, just like that, everytime it is tried.
