It would be fascinating to find out what took place between Remington, Winchester and Parker prior to the 1901 Anglo-American Match. Parmelee, LeRoy, and Heikes had all been UMC/Remington Reps and switched to Parkers. Tom Marshall used UMC shells to win the 1897 and 1899 GAH at Live Birds, and abandoned his Cashmore (of course British made) for a Parker. J.A.R. Elliott and Ed Banks stuck with their Winchester (1897) Repeaters.
