What metal finish is planned for the action? The gun seems to have a very modern feel, I can't help but think a traditional CCH finish would detract from that.
In my dreams that gun would have a French grey finish and very dark wood.
Beautiful work, I love the reshaping, subtle yet remarkable changes.

Thanks for the compliment. All of the metalwork except for the barrels is going to be grey and I have a few heavily figured English walnut blanks to choose from when the time comes for me to stock the gun.
