Thanks for this useful information. My only Reilly is a lovely little rook-and-rabbit rifle marked with the Oxford Street address. It's a hammerless ejector with cocking indicator pin and a sliding safety behind the trigger guard, with Birmingham proof marks. Casehardening on the frame and bluing on the octagonal matted-top barrel remain in good, untouched condition, and there's only an old repair to the (gutta-percha?) buttplate that makes it less than perfect. The straight-grain walnut stock with horn forend tip is quite nice too. Originally chambered in .250 rook, this one has been Parkerifled to .22 lr, making it entirely practical on the range -- an ideal gent's walking-around rifle from a bygone era.
