In this thread Ed says he has built some rifles and done some gunsmithing. Yet in other threads he says he does no gunsmithing of any kind.

Which is it?

Oh yeah, you must be speaking of some other forum when you say "fine forum". This forum has not been "fine" in quite a while.

Fewer rules? There are rule here and "down there". They just are not enforced. There is a difference.

In my opinion, the misfires board should be done away with completely. It is upsetting to see a misfires section get near as much activity as a main section of a board.

well dudley, you are certainly entitled to your opinions.

however, these doublegunshop forums are the best on the net in my opinion. this main forum is unique. where else can one find so much diverse doublegun info, all in the same place? for example, double gun discussion here is not limited to certain brands of guns only, as is the case pretty much with the collector forums to be found else where.

here is an example: recently a unique french sxs shotgun made by bovy, came into my hands. never seem another. never heard of another. asked for info here...bingo, lots of info posted in response. not available anywhere else.

another example: if you are into german made guns, there is no finer resource for info than right here.

sadly, there are a very few members of this forum who are cronic malcontents. they use this fine forum as an outlet for their misery...

it would be nice if they would limit their non double gun posts to misfires..but sadly, that does not always happen.

Ed, my psychiatrist friend would call this denial behavior.
