Jim, Not meaning to be a smart ass, I don't often get it on my hands. I use a soft toothbrush to apply it from a smear placed on a scrap of sheet iron. Small parts that must be hand-held are messy, but I can't remember it ever being a problem a paper towel couldn't cure. Maybe I'm just used to it. The brush is more of a problem,I do return it to an upright back-of-the-bench holder and don't lay it on the bench.
Glad you enjoyed the book (I assume you meant Double Shotguns?)
The manuscript for Double Shotguns Vol. II will be going to the publisher (Countrysport Press) in a couple of weeks and will be out next year. I'm planning to be at the Pintail Point Vintage Cup to introduce it.
