I think we're made in Italy. Not sure by who.

I believe they were made by SIACE in Italy.

The Legend series were made by Ferlib. The superlights...SIACE.

The Ferlib made Legend was a much higher grade gun than the Superlight.

LeFusil has it right. Two very different guns . . . although the SIACE Superlights aren't bad by any means. I believe Jim Austin of New England Arms was the middleman on that deal. He sent me a SIACE Superlight to field test.

I think Dakota had maybe two or three Legends made by Ferlib. Very few anyway. The SIACE-made Superlights were not a success either, maybe a few dozen made at most. Steve Barnett had six or eight that were closed out by Dakota several years ago. I handled every one. They were pretty nice.JR

I think the SIACE Superlights appeared not too long before New England Arms closed its doors. Don't know whether that had anything to do with the guns' success, or lack thereof.
