JDW, when I went to the Claybuster,(then new) Lightening wad(4100-12-B), there really no recipies out there for that new wad. I called Claybuster and they gave me some good info on using Solo 1000 in a Rem. hull with Rem. primers. Then in 2004, the Accurate powder reloaders guide, does show the use of the Lightening wad with Solo 1000, in a Rem. hull using CCI 209's. But, they give no info for using Rem. primers of any sort with their powders, only CCI's. But, the info they gave me earlier shows they are using the same recipie, only changing the primers. Now I feel even dumber. On the Accurate Powder site, the show using Rem/Win/CCI interchangeable. Hmmmmmmmm I am loading 1oz. loads, 17.8 gr. of Solo 1000, Rem. hull, Claybuster 4100-12 wad. Hmmmmmm Could this be true?
