gunmaker Sidelock Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 505 Likes: 120 Mineola, Texas	Some gunsmiths hide an off face gun by peening the forend loop, thus setting the forend iron back tighter into the action knuckle. Eventually recoil will work the forend back to were it belongs, and you will have a gun that is loose. Worse yet is if the peen the action knuckle... Last edited by gunmaker; 02/06/15 07:51 PM. A.M.
