Nice Mike collection. I have a 1"/25mm Miutoyo Combi-Mike that reads metric on the thimble down to .01mm & a dial in the frame which reads Inch to .001". This one rolls & reads like an odometer, not quite as accurate as the thimble reading but quick & easy to read when tolerance wasn't real close
Even though we "Yanks" (I can call us that) are still on the inch system I did have occasion in the shop to have to work metric. This 25mm mike plus a 6" Vernier caliper which also read both systems got me through most instances. Anything else I simply had to measure in inches & convert with my Casio calculator. The Combi-mikes were available with either system on the thimble with the other on the dial. I ran across mine used in excellent condition at a very good price & as I had good inch reading mikes this one suited my purposes exactly.
