I'm not whining about their not wanting to make an offer. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy and ignorance of saying a type of gun is unsafe while they are simultaneously trying to sell the very same type of weapon. If you don't think the gun is safe then stop offering it as a working firearm. That was the entire point of the post. My mistake was including other details to allow the mental midgets on this board an opportunity to start a fight with someone. That's just how things are on here - mostly good people but a decent handful of legitimate peckers who probably aren't loved by anyone and wouldn't be missed by more than 3-4 people if they got hit by a train. Think about that for a minute. It's a common trait among the miserable sob's of this World.
The guy also wasn't just saying something as an excuse not to buy the gun. I took a Meriden A.J. Aubrey Model 53 16ga up there, too. The employees who brought them back up to the front of the store for me were all cooing about what a beautiful gun it is.
Try to find 3 currently available Remington 1894 10ga's with ejectors. Any where. Go. People either like big guns, or they don't. I do. Lots of other people do.
