That isn't uncommon among multi-barreled firearms. Every one of my drillings will walk if fired fairly rapidly. Then, as you mentioned, after about the 3rd shot they hold in a group. There is one barrel warming, the rifle barrel, and two barrels still cool. The rifle barrel is trying to expand and the cool shotgun barrels are trying to keep it from expanding. At least that's my take and what others with greater experience have told me.
