I have that Jost & Diehl combination gun in 10.5 X 47R and it doesn't walk as fast as my drillings. However, the barrels are a lot heavier than any of my drillings, (probably due to the gun being fairly early), and it is a black powder load....'course that stuff burns pretty hot. I have wondered how much and how fast a Nitro combination gun would walk. Evidently quite a bit, eh?
Depending on the season I may mow a little lawn or do a little work in one of the gardens between shots or, as with this latest rifle for which I only have one case, go reload it....lol. The other brass arrived from Buffalo Arms today....along with some familiar looking bullets from a familiar address...thanks Mike.
