lol!!! No Mike, I have a full box of 20 of 10.5 X 47R cases. I sacrificed a box of my old 43 Mauser, Buffalo Arms cases to make them. Then replaced them with a box of Bertram 43 Mauser brass. Now that I've learned more about this cartridge forming game I'll use 45-70 if I need more. I only have the one case for this new little rifle. Well, I did until last night. The brass came yesterday and I cut them off, trimmed them, opened the case mouth to take the 9.3 bullets and am going to load them shortly.
Surprisingly there is no 45-70 brass at my house anymore. When I got my Montana Roughrider in 45-90...goodness...over 20 years ago, (dadgum...I didn't think I'd had that rifle that long!!), I sold all my 45-70 stuff. It is easy to come by though.
I haven't tried the one H&G bullet I have loaded....just been too doggone cold and windy.
