I thought the telltale indicator of the screw grip was a horseshoe "collar" surrounding the top lever where it connects to the spindle.
And that is a fine looking double - if its specs are a match for its looks, that looks like a keeper.

I agree with Doverham & in the first photo it looks to me like the Harksom has it but the horseshoe shape is on the top lever rather than on the spindle boss. The engagement with the rib extension is same (i.e. the boss on the top of the spindle is what engages the rib extension, not the top lever it's self which is found on some non screw grip guns using a rib extension & 3rd bite).

Both the original and the re-proof marks look Birmingham to me. Some of the action styling is reminiscent of work by A.A.Brown's. Lagopus.....

I agree with Lagopus. The only London mark on the gun is the view mark on the action flats. There are also the Birmingham marks on the flats.
The marks on the barrels are 100% Birmingham.

Lagopus: Interesting you note that: Robin Brown's grandfather used to file those style fences as an actioner to the Birmingham trade in the early 20th Century.

So it was rebbled? That would account for the London Crown V on the action.
Are those Birmingham marks on the bbls from 1925-1954?
Wasn't Harkom sold to Mortimer & Son in 1922?

One London and two Birmingham marks on the action.
Looking at the photos I would assume the gun was re-barreled and proofed in Birmingham and then later re-proofed again Birmingham .

OWD No proofmarks from 1925-54. Those would have included chamber length (in inches, not mm).

Mark, can you read the letters in the proofmark on the barrel flats, left and right quadrants, immediately above the 1 oz proofmark? Those should help establish a date for the Birmingham reproof--or one of the Birmingham reproofs, if there were two.
