No: You just gave him a copy. I've had my C&R for almost 20 years and that's always been the case.

I have had my license for almost 20 years and never been inspected. Furthermore I don't know of any C&R licensee that's ever been inspected.

Additionally here in Arizona: I can walk into any establishment hand them a copy of my C&R license and if the firearm was made prior to 1965 pay my money and walk out with the gun.

Additionally when flying I always put a copy of my license in with the firearms I have along. I've NEVER had one problem with airport security. grin

I also discovered about a year ago that in a State like New York thaey will not let you even handle a firearm if you're out of state unless you have a license.

IMO: The only detractors to a C&R license are the usual leftist Libtards who are for "gun control" in any form and some of the 01 FFLs who see us as an incursion to their income.
