Hello All,

I'm pleased to announce that the Georgia Vintagers chapter has been re-established.

We are still getting organized in many ways. Currently we are centered in the northern suburbs of Atlanta and we normally get a group together to shoot most weekends at Etowah Valley or participate in the open shoots at Cherokee Gun Club and Riverbend Gun Club. We do want to expand our weekend range and shoot more of the great venues we have within a reasonable drive of Atlanta.

In the meantime, we are planning our first official Vintager event for Saturday, March 28th, at Riverbend gun club ( Riverbend Gun Club ). We're working out the final details and I will post them here once established. Please mark your calendar!

Matt, don't let this Georgia thing take too much of your time - Judy enjoys quail hunting with you and will want to see you visit again with the Carolina Chapter. Too bad your first Georgia shoot is in the middle of tax season or we'd try to run over and shoot with y'all.

I shoot with this group on a regular basis, and if they all tolerate me, they will tolerate anyone!! In all seriousness though, great guys and we have a ton of fun, don't be shy guys and gals, come on out and shoot with us, we have a blast every time.

Here is more information about our event on March 28th. We'll have lunch after shooting a round of sporting clays. After lunch we may do a little show-and-tell or shoot some trap or 5-stand (or all of the above).

When:
Saturday, March 28, 2015
Registration starts at 9am
Shooting starts at 10am

Cost: $40 -- Includes lunch and prizes

High Hammer Gun
High Hammerless Gun
High Small Bore (Hammer or Hammerless)

Just to complete this thread....We had 25 shooters and a lot of fun at our first event. We were very pleased with the turnout. Thanks to those who attended and to Riverbend Gun Club.
