Better solution - get a grandson and let him earn his keep by carrying the bag. Solves multiple problems.

Let's see, choices are apron or purse. (Hans don't come kick my azz, just kidding around) I say keep the olive drab look and the hunnert bucks, go for a milsurp gas mask bag....even Indiana Jones used one. <$10 ... and Jack Bower had his "Felix the Cat bag of tricks" which looked like a man-purse. Jack Bower a metro-sexual? No...no...no, say it aint so!

It's amazing what you can find on the internet. http://www.indygear.com/gear/bag.shtmlThis link talks about the gas mask bag that Indiana Jones carried. It was a British bag that had not yet been made when the movie was to have taken place. The bag was a common sight in London during World War II, but was not yet designed when the movies took place in the 30's.
