I think I follow the bore / constriction thing a bit, but probably not completely... I think most other guns I own fall into standard bore size category and/or are newer with tubes.
Would tighter/smaller bores (compared to standard) shoot tighter choke, generally speaking, or does it still depend on the constriction of that smaller bore at the end of the barrel?
Also, if I have 16 Ga Gun "a" with standard 16 Ga bore diameter and then I have this Gun "b" with a smaller than standard bore diameter, would it be possible to choke tube both guns with the same tubes? To clarify, I have had some 16 Ga's choke tubed by Mike Orlen, but those seemed to have standard sized bores and none required thin wall tubes. If this gun has smaller bores and I did decide to choke tube it, would it even be possible to use the same choke tubes or would you need to move to thin walls or how would that work considering the bores are smaller overall?
