The gun was made for export to US, hence the "English".As Raimey said,if you want to know the choke, you have to pattern it, the constriction alone doesn't mean much.Remember, in 1960 they still had fiber wads.The "leaf" on the flat is the house mark for Eckernfoerde(Kiel)proofhouse,even if it is not written on the barrels.If it had been made for the German market, the choke would have likely been shown as 1/4, 1/2,3/4, etc.Prewar they marked choked barrels with a crown W and didn't show amount of choke.
