I thought I'd start a new thread instead of making folks sort through 8 pages. I'll also include info on a Prussian Daly 10 ga hammer gun with no maker's name.

First fwt Lindner 12 Ga 28" Damascus 6#5oz Double Purdey underbite, Doll's Head top fastener, DT, Extractors, 14 5/8 LOP, Fiddle walnut, 40% case colors, cocking indicators, S/N's 663 & 875. ( Two S/n's are the norm. One is the regular s/n and the other may relate to the Daly exportations), scalloped receiver, 3" drop. Fine barrels

Second gun: Fwt Lindner 12 Ga 26" Krupp Steel, 6#, Ejectors, side clips, DT, 20% case colors, Circassian walnut, cocking indicators, S/N 1331/1590, 14 1/4" LOP, both have recoil pads added, scalloped receiver, both have English scroll engraving, the pattern amount the same but the older gun has finer scroll, 3" drop, Double Purdey underbite, square cross bolt top fastener. Fine barrels

Prussian Daly, unknown maker, 10 Ga Damascus hammer gun, 30" barrels, DT, no top lock, double Purdey underbite, extrtactors, 14 1/4" LOP, 3 1/8" drop, fine, light engraving, cross latch forearm attachment pin, S/N 424, Flats marked "CH", 10#14 oz, Beautiful Damascus, fine barrels, There are no other marking as the German govt required no proof marks until 1891 so this gun predates that date.

I have taken photos. Now I'll try to upload them to the computer and then get them posted. Give me a bit. New camera.
