I have a WC Scott 28ga sxs. The S/N dates the gun to 1978. On the trigger plate it says Orvis Best Gun. On the right barrel it says WC Scott and Son (Gunmakers)LTD Birmingham. Cased.

What is strange is that the action is rounded, unlike a 700 series. Any idea what model it is? I have never seen another one like it. I am going to contact Orvis and see if they have any info as well.
