I do not mean to start a post apocalyptic fear thread, should the world go that way I know where to find whatever I might need.
Full auto has uses, but for normal self defense it is not as useful as a good semi-auto
I decline to discuss or comment on specific political issues outside of shooting sports. Now to that:
The rules for firearms ownership continue to get more restrictive and more complex each year. My hesitation on Class III is simple; my concerns with evolving regulation promulgated through executive action and discretion provided by Congress far outweigh any fun in blasting away.
Recently i tried to procure some unfired brass for a odd double rifle from Germany, but the complex and lengthy import was more pain than it would worth.
All in all playing with classic guns keeps some of those problems away, but I have real concerns over the entrapping nature of the BATF in creating crimes where none had existed, and in stretching. I have challenges understanding all the rules in their ever evolving interpretations.
The modern regulatory state is a rapidly engulfing us.
