It would be a good idea to have a DIY and restoration section but there is always a but isn't there? And my but is posting on this forum has one major problem photographs! They do say one picture is worth a thousand words but if you try to post a higher number of pictures to explain things you soon run out of space. And it is very frustrating when you have gone to the trouble to take the photographs in the first place load them on a image hosting site only to find that with the text it is to large to post, been there, done that, and I have the 'T' shirt.
The only lessons in my life I truly did learn from where the ones I paid for!

JPGBOX allows you to insert the pics directly into your posts. Then, you add the text to the post here, not depending on a hosting site. I haven't found any problems, but I haven't been using it that long.
Anyone know of a downside to it?

Sorry ken I did not make it clear but it was in my mind when I posted. My method is I post the text directly from my PC then add the pictures from the host site. It is this site that has a limit on the size of your post and it is the pictures that eats up the space here.

damascus,
I have to admit that it's been from you that I've learned quite a bit of my knowledge. Especially about Vintage stock finishes and oils. If there is ever a DIY subforum, it's my sincere hope that you will find a way to conveniently post.
Regards Ken
