Thanks for commiserating with me on this issue. Misery loves company. I'm going back to the post office tomorrow and every single day until they find my property. I have the item insured and have called my insurance man, but I want the gun a lot more than any money. I don't think the barrels will be damaged because I packed them in pvc pipe. The gun is a beautiful little 28b WJ Jeffery with 28" fabulously hand -made barrels. It's really sad, sickening really.
