I would like to hear how they pattern. How reliable is the single trigger.
I see Stan has spent quite a bit of time in the dove field with his.

Hi all and congrats Adam on a very nice Yildiz! Here's the wood on mine (not near as nice as yours!):

I have the 20ga model and I must say that for the $$$ these are extremely nice guns. Very good workmanship, the wood as a rule (not an exception) is a cut above others in this price range. They are also nice handling guns, good balance and a nice feel. The alloy action makes this a joy to carry. Mine weighs in at 5-10 and not whippy at all. The trigger on mine has some creep, a tad mushy, but a nice clean let off. Not heavy at all. It seems to work fine, no problems or issues with it. The ejectors are well timed and strong. The only draw back is the choke tubes. They are available thru Briley, but are spendy. Mossberg made the Pro Factor (PF4) tubes that fit them, but when I was looking for them, they were hard to find in 20ga at least.

Too bad Academy is the only importer, Yildiz has some fine looking guns on their site, that I'm sure would do well here. These are good guns and well worth the price.

As to the bbl regulation, it sure shots were I look (and Stan also by his picture):

Congrats again Adam! Good score!

Greg

Adam's is a few ounces heavier than mine, no doubt because of the nicer, and denser, wood.

Mine patterns very well. Plenty good enough for my kind of .410 hunting. They are fixed choke guns (the .410s, that is). Regulation is as good as most Berettas. One barrel was centered about 3-4" off at 30 yds. Doesn't seem to hinder me killing doves with it, tho'.

The single trigger is deadly reliable. Never a malfunction with mine. The trigger pull on mine was very heavy, intolerable for me, so I lightened it. Lightened another one for a friend, and helped another friend with his. They're very easy to improve the trigger pull on. Polished and hardened internals, which really surprised me. I did the trigger job on mine immediately after receiving it, and have shot it for several years now. The trigger pull is exactly like it was when I finished working on it. That is a sign of good, hardened parts.

As much as I like mine, I'm still looking hard at a Dickinson. Love those 30" barrels and ejectors.
