About the Syracuse inards...I'm not up to speed either...or I would probably tell you that I can barely tell the difference between a Syracuse and a Baltimore inards...Now I don't want anyone to get their fur up over this observation...I'm just sayin' that Baltimore and Syracuse guns are more closely related than we think...Hollenbeck being the common denominator (I guess)

as far as the cocking bar is concerned, I'm assuming the first time that mechanism appears in the patent record is Hollenbeck's patent 481327 pictured above...which further helps to date Baker No.38, as it has that cocking bar
