Thanks a lot for the 2 posts you told me to look at. The first response to the first post you suggested I look at was a photo expo given by a member whose code name is Small Bore. He provided about 25 pictures of various locks. His 18th picture was of a Joseph Lang back action lock. After reviewing the picture, the pin and screw pattern looks almost identical to my gun. I have one extra pin that supports the mainspring. Could you please take a look at this 18th picture from Small Bore and see if you can determine if it has an intercepting sear. I am not familiar enough with these locks to know where to look for the 2nd sear. I hope you can help me determine whether it has an intercepting sear or not. If you can't tell, can you recommend someone who could look at this picture and make this determination? You've been a great help trying to resolve this issue--I really appreciate it. Thanks.
