Thought some might find this interesting.

I had listed this shotgun in the for sale section:

Visited the estate again last night to see what else might be available. While cleaning out some cabinets, they found the paperwork for this gun.

Yep. No value to me, and I have pictures.

There was a well built AYA boxlock imported by Sears for the purpose of competing head on head with the Winchester model 21. I forget the model, is this the one?...Geo

Nice guns, but I can't say I'm excited about the Beavertail forend. I know someone who has one, it has doubling issues due to the single trigger.

I prefer wood to plastic, leather to nylon, waxed cotton to Gore-Tex, and split bamboo to graphite.

Without seeing it, I would bet that the gun he has is an AyA Matador, which is NOT the same model as this. Matador's are notorious for problems with the single trigger.

I do not know if this is that model. Did just enough research to accurately describe it for sale.

The 900 kg proof pressure would likely cause confusion if someone tried to convert to psi. With the proof dating from 1974, it would be a crusher vs transducer measurement. Like LUP vs psi.

Re a Spanish double meant to compete with the Model 21: That doesn't ring any bells. However, Winchester briefly imported (mid-70's) a sxs they designated the Model 22. Made by Laurona. Not often seen.
