I appreciate the posts on this topic over the last five years, but the details a somewhat confusing. I load 12'S and 20's, but my two youngest daughters really got into it with me with my double grade 5 A Grade 410 Ithaca. They find the 20 still a little too much in terms of recoil. Granted a 410 is frustrating in terms of shot profile to hit a trap target, but they are not dissuaded. At $120+ a case, I am looking for options.
I also appreciate that posting load specifics, from a CYA aspect has potential legal ramification if things go south, so I am asking if anyone could/would direct me to loads that work for them (2.5 inch shells, 1/2 oz loads). I would be reloading with a MEC 600. I have Alliant 410 and easy access to Hodgdon H110. Remington, Winchester, Federal hulls are on my list. Rec's on primers and wads are appreciated.
