FFL on the shipping end has no clue if the gun is stolen. I purchased a handgun from an FFL in AZ a few years ago off of gun broker, and 2 years later I found out it was stolen. The only way I even found out was my FFL buddy told me the alphabet boys flagged it during an audit. I'm yet to be formally notified by the DC ding dongs. I stopped carrying it and cut it up.


Why did you cut it up? You were out the $$$ either way and by doing this you guaranteed that it couldn't be returned to the rightful owner.
