She is liver and white, not a tri color. she is wet and that makes her look dark in face.

Nice looking pup Brian.
I was looking at the kennel website. Some very nice looking and proven dogs there.
I am curious though, as to why they do not dock the tails. Did they mention why when you reserved your pup?

pretty sure those tails are docked, just not short like a bench dog. All my dogs have had docked tails, usually about 6" of tail and another 4" of hair.

SKB:
That's a good point.
Pretty impressive kennel and lines. Brian should have some fun times with that pup.

When I docked the tails on my pups, I'd generally leave at least two more vertebrae than what was typical for show dogs. If possible, I'd dock so the tip was white, enabling the hair to grow long into a "Flag"...

I prefer wood to plastic, leather to nylon, waxed cotton to Gore-Tex, and split bamboo to graphite.

Her tail is docked. For actual Field Bred Springers, they only take no more than the last third off. Bench dogs have that stub tail. Field bred breeders and owners really feel the field bred springer is a different bred. if you put a bench dog next to a field bred dog, the differences are readily apparent in most cases. In the UK, as far as I know, they no longer dock tails at all. besides you want that flag when they are in the brush working their butts off for you!
